About Us

Hey there! We wanted to write a thorough about-us page so readers could understand the purpose of our blog and social media in general.

Well, first of all, we are geoscience students passionate about sharing our knowledge on climate, Earth's composition, and more. We started our studies last year (2024) at Università di Padova, a renowned university in the north of Italy. Since then, we have become close friends and connected because all three of us love being outdoors and exploring.

We always end up doing a lot of research about every place we plan on visiting and love to take lots of photos and videos to keep as memories. However, why not turn this interest of ours into something that can be useful for people who are also searching for information for their next adventures or who want to understand a bit more about our Earth? 

We have then created the Trail Gals, the ultimate blog for those who love hiking, trekking, climbing, and adventures. We aim to inspire fellow outdoor enthusiasts while sharing our exciting experiences and discoveries. 

We are three girls, each from a different country: Luiza from Brazil, Derya from Turkey and Aurora from Italy!


However, as you can see in the photos above, we love to go on adventures with our friends and share our photos with them. 
After all, the more, the merrier. 

What you can expect from us: 
At this moment, we are trying to balance studies with the blog and our social media as we have just started, so please be patient. We might be able to post on our blog only once or twice a week, but we will work on posting good quality posts and content always. 

Please keep in mind that we are still undergrad students still learning and finding our way. We are keen to make mistakes, but we will always try to bring as much correct information as possible. We will always be open to suggestions and corrections, especially from professionals.

We hope to grow a community with people who look forward to big adventures and who are interested in sharing scientific knowledge with us!
