Grotte di Oliero: nature at its finest Hey guys, welcome back to the hiking section! Long time no see—blame it on the weather, I swear! Today, I'm excited to share the story of our last hike to Grotte di Oliero, which was one of the best experiences we've had so far (in my humble and honest opinion, ofc). "Who's Oliero?" you ask. Keep reading—it might even help with your attention span!

For our next adventure, we set our sights on Monte Trevisan and Monte Alto , two stunning peaks in the Colli Euganei , with a grand start at the elegant Villa Draghi. If you’re looking for a hike that blends breathtaking views, lush nature, and a touch of historical charm, this is the one for you! The sun didn’t bother to come out this time, but at least it didn’t rain, and the hike was still enjoyable.

As our first official hike together as a group, we set out to conquer Monte Ricco in Monselice - a gorgeous hill in the southeastern part of the Colli Euganei that boasts olive trees, a fascinating hermitage at its summit, and a seriously cool geological past.  The weather wasn't the best to start with, but it got better when we passed the inversion layer that was keeping all that fog at the base; let this be a quick reminder that you can enjoy the hills all year round, but spring would be the best *wink*
